When you want to leave Pokémon Go, you'll want to delete your account. This wikiHow will teach you how to delete your Pokémon Go and Pokémon Trainer Club accounts using a mobile or desktop web browser.

Deleting Your Pokémon Go account

    Go to https://niantic.helpshift.com/a/pokemon-go/?p=web&contact=1. You'll need to know your Trainer nickname and have access to the email associated with your account.

    Enter the information in the text fields for "Username" and "Your email address." Enter your in-game username (your Trainer's nickname) and your email address associated with your Pokémon Go account.

    Select Delete My Account from the drop-down for "Issue Category." Click Select and a menu will drop-down with "Delete My Account." Click it to continue.

    Fill out the rest of the form. Answer the rest of the prompts to "Describe your problem here," "Attach Files (optional)," and select your preferred language.

    Go to http://www.pokemon.com/. You may have created a Pokémon Trainer Club account with your Pokémon Go account for quick log-in or to earn certain rewards.

    Click Log In. You'll see it on the left side of the page, towards the center.

    Click Request Data Deletion. This will be at the bottom of the page under the header, "Data Security Options."
    • A "Delete Your Account" page will load; fill out or make sure the current username and password are correct.

    Click Delete. It's on the right side of the page.
    • You'll get a confirmation screen that your account will be deleted.

    Navigate to your email and open the email sent from Pokémon Customer Service. You need to go to the email Pokémon sent to your email address referring to your deletion.
