Google introduced a system-wide dark theme on Android Q. As part of this change, the dark theme rolled out to the Google Calendar app on Android. This wikiHow will teach you how to enable it in just a few steps.
Steps

1Open Google's “Calendar” app on your device. Please confirm that your app is up is up-to-date. If it's not, open the Google Play Store and update the calendar app.

2Click on the menu button (≡), at the top-left corner. This will opens a panel. Then, search for the “Settings” option.

3Tap on Settings. Scroll down to the end of the menu to see it.

4Tap on the General option. It will be the first option on the “Settings” page.

5Select the Theme option. It's located right before the “Notifications” header. A dialogue box will pop up after you select it.

6Choose “Dark” from the pop-up box. The Calendar app's background will change to dark grey.

7Finished. Using a dark theme can help protect your eyes and it also helps you to save your mobile phone's battery life.
