Steps

1Open Google Maps on your iPhone or iPad. It’s the multicolored map icon with a “G” typically found on the home screen.

2Tap a place you want to edit. Information about the location will expand at the bottom of the screen.Advertisement

3Swipe up on the information at the bottom of the screen. More options will appear.

4Tap Suggest an edit. It’s the option with a blue pencil icon.

5Make your edit suggestions. If the place no longer exists, tap the switch at the top of the screen so it turns green. You can also add or edit the place name, address, hours, category, contact number, and website.

6Tap the send button. It’s the paper airplane icon at the top-right corner of the screen. This sends your edits to the Google Maps team. If the update is legitimate, the changes will soon be reflected in Maps.Advertisement
