How to Download Bitdefender on Android

This wikiHow teaches you how to download the Bitdefender Antivirus Free app from the Google Play Store, and install it on your Android.

Steps

    Open the Play Store on your Android. Find and tap the

    icon on your Apps menu to open the Play Store.

    Tap the search bar at the top. The search bar reads "Google Play" at the top of your screen.

    Type Bitdefender Antivirus into the search bar.
    • The search function is not case-sensitive. You don't have to capitalize the app name here.

    Tap the search button on your keyboard. This button looks like a magnifier icon in the lower-right corner of your screen. It will bring up a list of all the matching results.

    Tap the Bitdefender Antivirus Free app in the search results. It should be at the top of the results list. Tapping will open the app details on a new page.

    Tap the green INSTALL button. This button is located below the app name on the app details page. It will download and install the Bitdefender app on your Android.
    • You will see a green progress bar below the app name here while it's downloading.

    Tap the green OPEN button. When the installation is complete, a green OPEN button will replace INSTALL on the app details page here. Tapping it will open the Bitdefender app.
