Open the Messages app. It’s the app that has an image of a small white speech bubble and a large blue speech bubble.

Click a conversation. In the left column, select the conversation that has the message you want to delete. This opens the messages of that conversation in the right column of the app window.

Click the message you want to delete. This highlights the message in dark blue.
