How to Delete a Reflectly Account

Reflectly is an Android and iOS journaling app that offers a free and paid version. This wikiHow will show you how to delete a free Reflectly account. If you signed up for Reflectly Premium, deleting your account does not cancel your subscriptions and you will be charged when the subscription renews. You will need to cancel the premium subscription from the App Store (iOS) or the Google Play Store (Android).

Deleting Your Account

Open Reflectly. This app icon is a light grey smiley face. You'll find this app icon on your Home screen, in the app drawer, or by searching.
- There is no website you can access to do this; you have to use the mobile app. You can send an email to hello@reflect.ly to regain access to your account if you are having trouble logging in or request your information to be deleted.^{[1]

Tap the account icon. You'll find this icon in the lower right corner of the screen. Your account page will open.

Tap the edit icon
. You'll see this icon in the top right corner of your screen.

Tap DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT. This is at the bottom of the page, so you'll have to scroll down to find it.
- If you want to save your data, such as your profile information and journal entries, tap Export Your Data.

Type the security phrase in "Write Here." The phrase is most likely "DELETE MY ACCOUNT" and you need to capitalize all the letters to continue.
- Tap the checkmark when you're done.
- Your account will be immediately deleted and you'll be logged out of the app.

Cancelling Your Membership With the Google Play Store

Open the Google Play Store
. You'll find this app on your Home screens, in the app drawer, or by searching.
- Log in if prompted.

Tap ☰. You'll see this in the top left corner of the app.

Tap Subscriptions. This is usually the fourth option in the listing under "Play Pass."

Tap Manage below the Reflectly subscription. A menu will pop-up with options to manage your subscription.
- You can see the date your subscription is set to renew.

Tap Cancel Subscription. This is usually the second listing in the menu and will prompt a confirmation pop-up.

Tap CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION. You'll receive an email confirmation that your subscription has been canceled and how long you'll have to use the perks of the subscription. After that period, you'll return to the free version of Reflectly.

Cancelling Your Membership With iPhone or iPad

Open Settings
. You'll find this grey gear icon on your Home screens or by searching.

Tap your name. This is the Apple ID you're signed in with. If you don't see a name or picture when you open Settings, you might need to log in.

Tap Subscriptions. This is usually the fourth listing in this menu under "Payment & Shipping."

Tap the Reflectly subscription. You'll be directed to the details page of the subscription, such as how much it costs and when it renews.

Tap Confirm. You'll need to confirm the cancellation to proceed. You'll see how long you can use the perks of the subscription before it's canceled.
