How to Delete Followers on Facebook on iPhone or iPad

This wikiHow teaches you how to block a contact on Facebook in order to remove them from your followers list, using an iPhone or iPad. Blocking a contact will prevent them from messaging you, tagging you, inviting you to events or groups, and seeing things you post on your Timeline.

Steps

Open the Facebook app on your iPhone or iPad. The Facebook icon looks like a white "f" in a blue box. you can find it on your home screen or in an app folder.

Tap your profile picture on the top-left. You can find your profile picture thumbnail next to the "What's on your mind?" field at the top of your screen. It will open your Profile page.
- Alternatively, you can tap the "☰" icon on the bottom-right, and tap your profile name at the top of the menu. This will also open your Profile page.

Scroll down and tap the About tab. You can find this button below your name and information on your profile page.

Scroll down and tap Followed by # people on your About page. When you find the number of people who follow you, tap on it to see the list of all your followers.

Tap the person you want to delete. Find the person you want to remove from your followers list, and tap on their name. This will open their Profile page.

Tap the More option below your contact's picture. This button looks like three dots in a circle on the right-hand side of your screen. Your options will pop up on a menu.

Tap Block on the pop-up menu. This option will block the selected contact, and prevent them from seeing anything on your Timeline.
- You will have to confirm your action in a pop-up window.
- If you block a friend, this will also automatically unfriend them.

Tap Block in the confirmation pop-up. This will block the selected contact, and remove them from your followers list.
