If you've had enough of Tinder, you can delete your account right from within the app itself. To clear all data associated with the account entirely, you'll need to revoke Tinder's Facebook access from within the Settings menu after deleting your account.

Steps

  1. 1
Open your "Tinder" app. If you aren't already logged in, enter your username and password to continue.
  2. 2
Tap the person icon. This is in the top left corner of the screen.
  3. 3
    Tap Settings.
  4. 4
    Tap Delete Account.
  5. 5
    Tap Delete Account again.
  6. 6
Tap the Home button. Doing so will exit Tinder.
  7. 7
    Tap the "Settings" app.
  8. 8
    Tap Facebook.
  9. 9
Tap the switch next to "Tinder".
  10. 10
Tap the Home button again. This will exit Settings.
  11. 11
Tap and hold Tinder's icon. It should start vibrating after a second or so.
  12. 12
Tap the "X" in the top left corner of the Tinder app.
  13. 13
Tap Delete. You have successfully deactivated your Tinder account!

Warnings

  • If you don't unlink your Facebook account after deleting your Tinder account from within the app, your profile may still show up in searches.
