This wikiHow teaches you how to customize the colors in Telegram on your Android phone or tablet.
Steps

1Open Telegram. It’s the blue icon with a white paper airplane inside. You’ll typically find it on your home screen or in the app drawer.

2Tap ☰. It’s at the top-left corner of the screen.

3Tap Settings.

4Scroll down and tap Themes. It’s in the “Settings” section.

5Tap Create New Theme.

6Type a name for your theme and tap OK. You should now see the new theme in the list of themes.

7Tap ⁝ next to the theme you created. A menu will appear at the bottom of the screen.

8Tap Edit.

9Tap the paint palette icon. It’s near the top-right corner of the screen. This opens a list of theme colors that can be changed.

10Tap an item you want to edit. Each option has its current color listed before it inside of a circle. Tapping an option will bring up the color palette so you can edit the color.

11Slide your finger to a new color. As you move your finger around the palette, the color of item will change.
- You can also use the two sliders on the right side of the screen to change the brightness and hue of the color.

12Tap Save. Your new color selection is now saved to the theme.

13Edit additional colors and tap Save Theme. Continue tapping items to edit their colors, just as you did the first. Once you tap Save Theme, you can start using your newly stylized Telegram.
