This wikiHow teaches you how to select a new sorting method in a Google Photos album, and edit the order of all your album images, using Android.
Steps

1Open Google Photos on your Android. The Google Photos app looks like a colored pinwheel icon with red, orange, blue, and green curls. You can find it on your Apps menu.

3Tap the album you want to edit. This will open a list of all the images in the selected album.

4Tap the ⋮ icon. This button is located in the upper-right corner of your screen. It will open a drop-down menu to edit your album.

5Tap Edit album on the menu. A blue toolbar will show up at the top of your screen.

6Tap the two-arrows icon on the toolbar. This button is located in the upper-right corner of your screen. A menu will slide in from the bottom with all your image sorting options.

7Select a sorting method on the pop-up menu. A blue checkmark will appear next to the selected method.
- Oldest first will order your album’s contents chronologically, and place the oldest image or video at the top.
- Newest first will order your album reverse-chronologically. You will see the newest image or video at the top.
- Recently added will determine the date every image and video was added to this album, and list the album’s contents based on it.
