    Tap Notification sounds.

    Tap Messages notifications. This opens the notification settings for incoming messages on your Galaxy.

    Tap Notification sound. This should open a library of sounds. If not, tap Media Storage (or select a ringtone app if you have one).

    Tap the sound you want to use. This fills in the circle to the left of its name, indicating that the sound is selected. The next time you receive a message on your Galaxy, you’ll hear the selected sound.
    • You may also hear this tone for other types of notifications.
    • Some messaging apps, such as Facebook, come with their own notification sounds.
