This wikiHow teaches you how to change the alarm tone on your Samsung Galaxy phone or tablet.

Steps

  1. 1
Open the Clock app on your Galaxy. You’ll usually find it in the app drawer. Look for the white icon with a gray outline of a clock inside.
  2. 2
Click the ALARM tab. It’s at the top-left corner of the screen.
  3. 3
Tap the alarm you want to change. If you use multiple alarms, you’ll have to change each individually.
    • If you have no alarms set, tap + at the bottom-right corner to create one now.
  4. 4
Tap Alarm tone and volume. A list of ringtones on your Galaxy will appear.
  5. 5
Select a ringtone. Tapping a ringtone will play a preview. Listen to each tone and then select the one you want to use.
  6. 6
Tap SAVE. It’s at the top-right corner of the screen. Your new alarm tone is set.
