1Open WeChat on your iPhone or iPad. It’s the green icon with two overlapping chat bubbles that have eyes. You’ll usually find it on the home screen.

2Tap Me. It’s at the bottom-right corner of the screen.

3Tap Settings.

4Tap Account Security.

5Tap Phone.

6Tap Change Mobile. Your current phone number and country will appear.

7Tap your phone number.

8Enter your new phone number.

9Tap OK. WeChat will send a verification code to the phone number you entered.

10Enter the verification code. If you don’t receive your code after a few minutes, tap No verification code received? to try again.

11Tap Submit. Your new phone number is now connected to your WeChat account.
