This wikiHow teaches you how to cancel an existing Uber Eats order on an Android phone or tablet. Orders can be canceled in the app before they are accepted by the restaurant.

Steps

  1. 1
Open Uber Eats on your Android. It's the black icon that says ″Uber Eats″ inside. You'll usually find it on the home screen or in the app drawer.
  2. 2
Tap the receipt icon. It's at the bottom of the screen. This displays your orders.[1]

  3. 3
Tap the order you want to cancel. You will see the order's status appear on the screen. As long as the current status is ″Confirming order with restaurant,″ you'll be able to cancel it in the app.
  4. 4
Tap CANCEL ORDER. It's below ″Confirming order with restaurant.″ This cancels your order and gives you a full refund.[2]
    • Though Uber Eats can cancel any order over the phone, they can only issue you a refund if the restaurant has yet to start preparing your order. If the restaurant has not yet started your order, they can cancel it for a full refund.
