How to Add a Telegram Bot on Android

This wikiHow teaches you how to start a conversation with a Telegram bot and add it to your chats list, using Android.

Steps

    Open Telegram on your Android. The Telegram app looks like a white paper plane in a blue circle icon. You can find it on your Apps menu.

    Tap the

    icon.     This button is located in the upper-right corner of your chats list. It will open the Search screen.

    Type the bot's username into the Search field. All matching results will appear below the Search bar.
    • If you want to find some fun and useful bots to add, you can browse the online bot libraries at www.botsfortelegram.com.
    • Try adding the Telegram Store Bot by searching @storebot. This bot will help you find other bots by making suggestions based on your needs.

    Tap the bot in the search results. It will open a new chat conversation between you and this bot.

    Tap START at the bottom of the conversation. This will add the bot to your account. You can find your new bot on your chats list.
