This wikiHow teaches you how to zoom in for a closer look at one of your Google Photos using an iPhone or iPad.

Steps

  1. 1
Open Google Photos on your iPhone or iPad. It’s a white icon with a multicolored pinwheel icon inside. You’ll usually find it on the home screen.
  2. 2
Tap the photo on which you want to zoom in. A larger version of the photo will appear.
  3. 3
Place two fingertips close together on the screen. Do this right over the area you want to see enlarged.
  4. 4
Spread your two fingers apart. As you do this motion, you’ll zoom in on this area of the photo. Repeat the motion to zoom in even closer.
  5. 5
Pinch two fingers together to zoom back out. This will return the photo to its original size.
