Excel spreadsheets can get quite large sometimes, but they can be easily compressed (or 'zipped') in order to take up less space.

Steps

    Open the file location of the Excel file.

    Right click on the Excel file you wanted to zip. A pop-up menu will appear.

    Select Send to, and then Compressed (zipped) folder.

    Change the name of the .zip file (optional) and press Enter to finish.
