How to Win in the RuneScape Duel Arena

Ever seen people with tons of cash? You've seen people at the duel arena staking party hats... and you think, "Wow, wish I could stake that much!" Well, now you can!

Method 1

Method 1 of 2:
P2P (Paying members)

Get a good account, a pure if possible.

Head over to the duel arena Al-Kharid.

Advertise you are willing to stake. For example, "Staking no armour 3k." or "Staking higher levels my rules." When somebody duels you, accept the duel, and quickly look their stats up.

Judge whether you think you will be able to beat them, remember to bear in mind their hit points.

Put up your rules, don't let them have their way, stick to your rules!

Always check the second duel screen! Once in battle, always have run and auto-retaliate on.

Hopefully you will win!

F2P (Free players)

Make a good account, a pure preferably

Go to the Al-Kharid Duel Arena

Advertise that you are staking 3k in a no armor match (you have a better chance, so your armor difference doesn't get in the way)

Put up your rules, don't let them have their way, stick to your rules!

Always check the second duel screen! Once in battle, always have run and auto-retaliate on.

Hopefully you will win!

Warnings

A little warning to pures: High strength doesn't mean you will win, a normal player with high defense and decent armor will SLAUGHTER you.

Melee vs. Mage. Mage tricks Melee into staking armor, say bye-bye to your armor because its gone. Only do this if you are sure you will wear dragon hide

Things You'll Need

Good Runescape account
Runes, staff and armor for mage
Bow and arrows, dragon hides for rangers. Darts, javelins or knives if you are a member.
Weapon and armor for melee
Cape(all cape plus some bonus )
Good Boots
Gloves(adamant gauntlets charged)
Small amount of food, optional for scammers
Potions, (optional)
Ring of dueling (P2P)
Preferably the guthix god spell. Lowering your opponent's defense helps tremendously!(P2P)
