Making a quick after school snack is so simple with a quesadilla maker. Plus, you can even have it with salsa or sour cream once you are done. Delicious!
Steps
-
1Plug in the quesadilla maker. Get out two tortillas that have been in the refrigerator. Get out shredded cheese.
-
2When the green light goes out, open up the maker and lay one tortilla down.[1]
-
3Spread cheese lightly on the tortilla - make sure it's even.
-
4Put the second tortilla on the other one with the shredded cheese lightly melted. Lightly press down on the maker. Keep down till you hear the cheese sizzle and you see it coming out of the quesadilla.[2]
-
5Lift open the maker, and remove the quesadilla. Let it cool for one minute.
-
6Cut along lines of the quesadilla into four equal parts.[3]
-
7Unplug the maker.
-
8Enjoy your cheese quesadilla.
Community Q&A
-
QuestionHow do I remove the quesadilla from the maker?
Community AnswerYou use a spatula to remove the quesadilla from the maker and put it on a plate. -
QuestionHow can I clean melted cheese?
Community AnswerUse a good dishwasher soap to clean the cheese. You can also use an abrasive sponge to rub it off. -
QuestionWhy does it smoke when it’s done?
Community AnswerIt's not supposed to. Either your quesadilla maker is defective, or you're cooking the quesadillas too long and burning them. -
QuestionWhat should I brush on the tortillas before making quesadillas?
Community AnswerIt's not necessary to brush anything on them, but a blend of melted butter and garlic is my favorite. -
QuestionCan I add meat and peppers with the cheese?
QamarTop AnswererSure. You can add pieces of meat and peppers on top of the cheese for a more flavorful quesadilla. Just don't add too much, as it can be harder to close the tortilla and cook. -
QuestionWhat about steak quesadilla?
LaraKnowsHowCommunity AnswerYou can absolutely use a quesadilla maker to make a steak quesadilla. Just make sure that the steak is already pre-cooked before you put it in the machine or else it might not cook through in there.
