This wikiHow teaches you how to enable Reachability on your large-screened iPhone so it's easier to use with one hand.

Part 1
Part 1 of 2:
Enabling Reachability

  1. 1
  2. 2
    Tap General.
  3. 3
    Tap Accessibility.
  4. 4

Part 2
Part 2 of 2:
Using Reachability

  1. 1
Unlock your screen. Reachability will not work if the screen is locked.
  2. 2
Lightly double-tap the Home button to start Reachability. Do not press the Home button—just touch it twice as if you’re double-tapping the screen. The screen will then shrink to about half of its height, making it easier to use with one hand.
    • To make the shrunken screen appear at the top of the screen rather than the bottom, tap the black area once.
  3. 3
Double-tap the Home button to exit Reachability. This returns your iPhone’s screen to its normal size.[1]
