Steps
Part 1
Part 1 of 2:Linking Steam to YouTube
Part 1
-
1Upload the video to your YouTube account. If you haven’t done this before, see this article to learn how.
-
2Go to https://store.steampowered.com/login in a web browser. You can use any browser on your iPhone, including Safari or Chrome, to access Steam.
-
3Enter your login details and tap Sign in. This brings you to the Steam Guard screen. Also, Steam will now send a code to the email address associated with your account.
-
4Open the email message from Steam. This message contains the code you’ll need to type into the Steam Guard screen.
-
5Type the Steam Guard code into the blank. You can copy it from the email message and then paste it into the blank. Here’s how to do it:
- Highlight the code in the email message from Steam.
- Tap and hold the highlighted area.
- Tap Copy.
- Return to the Steam Guard screen (in Safari).
- Tap and hold the Enter your code here field.
- Tap Paste.
-
6Tap Submit. Depending on your settings, you may also have to tap Proceed to continue.
-
7Tap the ≡ menu. It’s at the top-left corner of the page.
-
8Tap You & Friends. Additional options will expand.
-
9Tap Profile. Your profile page will appear.
-
10Scroll down and tap Videos. Any videos you’ve already shared will appear here.
-
11Tap Link YouTube Account. You may have to scroll down to find it. A brief introduction will appear.
-
12Tap Access your YouTube videos. It’s the green button at the bottom of the page. This redirects you to a Google login page.
-
13Enter your Google username and tap NEXT. This is the email address or phone number you use to sign into YouTube/Google.
-
14Enter your password and tap Sign In. A confirmation message will appear.
-
15Tap ALLOW. This gives Steam permission to access your YouTube videos and returns you to your Steam profile. Now you can select a video to post to Steam.

Part 2
-
1Return to your Steam profile. Now that you’ve linked Steam to YouTube, you’ll find your videos in the Videos section of your profile.

-
2Scroll down and tap Videos. A list of your videos will appear.

-
4Select whether to associate the video with a game. Scroll down past the last video in the list to “2. Associate the video(s) with a game.” If your video(s) has something to do with a specific game, select the game from the drop-down menu.
- If you don’t find the game in the drop-down menu, type its name into the “Other/Unlisted” box.
