How to Unlink Twitch from Fortnite on PC or Mac

This wikiHow shows you how to access the Connected Accounts feature on the Epic Games website to disconnect a Twitch account from Fortnite. You cannot disconnect the account from within the Twitch website or app.

Steps

Open your browser and go to the Fortnite website.

Log in to your Epic Games account. Click the Sign In tab in the top-right corner of the page, enter your email and password in the menu that pops up, and click the dark gray Sign In button at the bottom of the menu.

Click on the tab with your username. This appears in place of the Sign In tab once you’re logged in and will display a pop-up menu when you click it.

Click on Account in the menu. This will direct you to a new page with a list of options for your Epic Games account in a menu pane on the left side of the screen.

Click on Connected Accounts. This is listed in the menu pane on the left side of the screen (third from bottom). You’ll be directed to a page listing any accounts linked to your Epic Games account.
- Once you’ve pulled up the Connected Accounts page, you should see your Twitch account listed along with a black Disconnect button underneath your Twitch username.

Click Disconnect under Twitch. This will disconnect your Twitch account from accessing Fortnite.
