Using Mac

    Open a new Finder window on your Mac. Click the blue smiling face icon on the Dock, or double-click any folder on your computer.

    Click Applications on the left sidebar. You can find this option under "Favorites" on the left-hand side of the Finder window.
    • If you don't see the left sidebar in your Finder window, press Cmd+ Option+S on your keyboard. The sidebar will slide in.

    Right-click Google Chrome in your Applications folder. This will open your right-click options on a drop-down menu.

    Click Move to Trash on the right-click menu. This will move the Google Chrome app to your trash bin.
    • If you're prompted, enter your Mac's user account password to confirm your action.
    • Alternatively, you can drag and drop the Google Chrome icon to Trash on your Mac's Dock.

    Open your Mac's Trash. Click the Trash bin icon on the Dock to open your trash bin.

    Right-click Google Chrome in Trash. It will open your right-click menu.

    Type Programs and Features on your keyboard. This will search your computer, and find your program uninstallation tool.

    Click Programs and Features in the search results. This should be the top result. It will open a list of all the programs installed on your computer.
    • On some versions of Windows, this tool might be named Add/Remove Programs.

    Find and click Google Chrome on the program list. Browse the program list in the "Programs and Features" window, and click Chrome to select it.

    Click the Uninstall button. You can usually find this button at the top of the program list, below the "Uninstall or change a program" heading, but sometimes it will show up below the app information on the page.

    Click the Uninstall button in the pop-up. This will confirm your action, and permanently delete Google Chrome from your computer.
