Removing Amazon Assistant from the Web Browser

    Open the Samsung Internet browser. Before uninstalling the app, you’ll want to remove it from the web browser. It’s the purple icon with a white planet inside. You’ll usually find it on the home screen.

    Open your Android’s app drawer. You can do this by swiping up or down on the home screen on most Galaxy phones and tablets.

    Tap and hold the Amazon Assistant icon. It’s a white letter “a” with a curved yellow arrow in a blue circle. The icon will start wiggling and a menu will appear.

    Tap Uninstall. It’s near the bottom of the menu. A confirmation message will appear.

    Tap OK. This removes the app from your Galaxy.
