How to Turn on Subtitles on Hulu on PC or Mac

This wikiHow teaches you how to turn on subtitles on Hulu for PC and Mac. You can turn on subtitles from the desktop website.

Steps

    Navigate to https://www.hulu.com in a web browser. This takes you to the Hulu website. You can use any web browser on PC or Mac.
    • If you are not automatically signed in, click Log In in the upper-right corner. Type the email address and passwords associated with your Hulu account and click Log In.
    • To switch between profiles, place the mouse cursor over your profile name in the upper-right corner to display the profile menu. Then click the profile you want to use.

    Browse for a TV show or movie. There are plenty of movies and TV shows the home page of the Hulu website.
    • Click My Stuff to view shows and movies in your library.
    • Click Browse to see a drop-down menu of genres.
    • Click Search to display a search menu you can use to search for movies and shows by name.

    Click the radial button next to "English" on the left. Most shows have two options below "Subtitles" on the left. Click English to turn on English subtitles. Click Off to turn subtitles off.
    • To change the subtitle color, font, and letter style, click Settings below "Subtitles" on the left.
