3Tap Sign-in & security. It’s the first option.

4Tap 2-step verification. It’s under the “Signing in to Google” header.

5Type your Google account password and tap NEXT. If you have you have two-step authentication enabled, a 6-digit verification code will be sent to your phone.

6Type the code sent to your registered number and tap NEXT. If you enabled the Google Prompt 2-step verification instead, just tap Yes on your registered device when notified.

7Tap TURN OFF. It’s the blue button at the top of the screen. A confirmation message will appear, letting you know that turning off this feature removes the extra security.
