Transferring music from iTunes to your Android device can be made possible with the use of synchronization apps or by manually transferring files between your computer and your Android. Follow the steps outlined in this article to learn how to transfer music from iTunes over to your Android.

1Open the iTunes application on your computer.

5Click on “Music” below the “Library” category in the left window pane within the doubleTwist application. The doubleTwist app will display all your songs that currently reside in iTunes.

4Perform a search in Google Play Store for AirSync. AirSync is an add-on for the doubleTwist app, and is required for wireless transfer of iTunes songs to Android.

5Select the option to purchase the AirSync app. The AirSync app generally costs about 5 dollars.

6Wait for both the doubleTwist and AirSync apps to finish downloading to your Android device.

7Go to the computer that has iTunes installed, and visit the official doubleTwist website at http://www.doubletwist.com/desktop/. The application is available for Windows and Mac computers, and is required for use with the AirSync add-on.

8Select the option to download and install doubleTwist to your Windows or Mac computer.

17Select each song you want moved over to your Android device, then drag them to your Android device within the “Devices” category in the left window pane. doubleTwist will then transfer all the music tracks you selected over to your Android.
- To transfer all the songs in your iTunes library over to your Android, select “Music” from the General tab and check all the box, then click on the “Sync” button located in the lower right corner of doubleTwist.

Warnings
- The doubleTwist app will only work by itself for Android devices that support USB mass storage. If your device uses Media Transfer Protocol (MTP) instead of USB mass storage, you will be required to purchase and download AirSync, which is the wireless add-on for the doubleTwist app.Thanks!
