You can set up your iPhone or iPad to sync with Outlook or Google Calendar, but this wikiHow will show you how to sync your iPhone and iPad calendars over iCloud. If you sync those calendars, any events you add to your calendar on your iPad will appear on your iPhone.
Steps
-
1Open Settings. You can find this grey gear app icon on the Home screen.
- To keep both your devices up-to-date, you'll need to do this on both your iPhone and iPad.
- You need to be signed into the same Apple ID account on both your iPhone and iPad.
-
2Tap Sign in to your iPhone (or iPad) to sign in. You might see your name and photo instead. If you see your name and photo, make sure the signed-in account is the one you use to sign in to both your iPhone and iPad. Since your calendar syncs to iCloud, both the phone and tablet must be using the same Apple ID.
- Once you sign in with your Apple ID, you'll see your Apple ID information.
-
3Tap iCloud. You'll see this in the second grouping of menu items with iTunes & App Store.
-
4Tap to slide the switch on next to Calendars. You'll see this under the switches for Contacts and Mail. Enabling this on both your iPhone and iPad will ensure those Calendars sync to the iCloud account that iPhone or iPad is logged in to.[1]
