How to Share Your Google Photos Library on Android

This wikiHow teaches you how to send an email to a contact and invite them to share all the images in your Google Photos library, using Android.

Steps

    Open Google Photos on your Android. The Photos app looks like a colored pinwheel icon with red, green, blue, and orange curls. You can find it on your Apps menu.

    Tap the ☰ icon. This button is in the upper-left corner of your screen. It will open your menu panel on the left-hand side.

    Tap Share your library on the menu panel. This option will allow you to share all the images in your Photos library with a contact.

    Tap GET STARTED. This will open your contacts list.

    Select a contact on the list. Find the contact you want to share your library with, and tap their name. You'll be prompted to choose your sharing settings on the next page.

    Select All photos under the "Grant access to" heading. This will allow you to share all the images in your library.

    Tap NEXT. This button is in the upper-right corner of your screen. You'll have to confirm your decision to share your library on the next page.

    Tap the SEND INVITATION button. This is a blue button at the bottom of the Confirm page.
    • You'll have to enter and verify your account password before the invitation is sent out.

    Verify your password. Enter your account password on the "Verify identity" page, and click the SEND button. This will send an email to your contact, and invite them to share your image library.
    • Your contact will be able to accept your invitation via the invite link in the email.
