Sharing Videos with Other Instagram Users

    Open Instagram on your Android. It’s the purple, orange, and yellow camera icon typically found in the app drawer.

    Locate the video you want to share. You can scroll down to a video in your feed, or tap your profile icon to look for one of your own.

    Tap the paper airplane icon. It’s beneath the video. This opens the video in the “Sent to” screen.

    Select a recipient. You can tap a username in the list on the screen, or search for someone by typing their username into the Search bar.

    Tap Send. It’s the blue button at the bottom of the screen. The video will be delivered to the selected recipient.

Sharing Your Videos by URL

    Open Instagram on your Android. It’s the purple, orange, and yellow camera icon typically found in the app drawer.
    • You can only share your own Instagram videos (not other people’s) outside of the app.

    Locate the video you want to share. You can scroll down to a video in your feed, or tap your profile icon to look for one of your own.

    Tap the profile icon. It’s at the bottom-right corner of the screen. This displays your Instagram posts.

    Tap . It’s at the video’s top-right corner.

    Tap Copy link. A URL to the video is now copied to your Android’s clipboard.

    Paste the link into another app to share it. You can paste the URL into an email, text message, or social media post. To paste, tap and hold the typing area, then tap PASTE.
