Creating an Alarm

  1. 1
Open the "Apps" page. Raise your wrist to wake up the Apple Watch's face, then press once the Digital Crown to open the list of apps on your Apple Watch.
    • You can also press the "Lock" button below the Digital Crown and then tap All Apps in the resulting menu.
    • If your Apple Watch is locked, you'll need to enter your passcode and then press the Digital Crown to open it.
  2. 2
Open the Alarms app. Find the Alarms app icon, which resembles a white alarm clock on an orange background, and tap it.
  3. 3
Tap Add Alarm. It's an orange button near the top of your Apple Watch's screen. If you've never set an alarm, this button will be the only on-screen option.
    • If you have too many alarms to see this option, either scroll down to view it or press down hard on the screen and then tap Add Alarm' when prompted.
  4. 4
Select AM or PM. Tap AM or PM in the upper-left or upper-right corner of the screen, respectively.
    • Skip this step if your Apple Watch uses 24-hour time.
  5. 5
Set the alarm's hour value. Tap the "hour" box on the left side of the screen, then rotate the Digital Crown to change the hour to your preferred alarm time.
  6. 6
Set the alarm's minute value. Tap the "minute" box on the right side of the screen, then rotate the Digital Crown to change the hour to your preferred alarm time.
  7. 7
Tap Set. It's a green button at the bottom of the screen. This will set your alarm and turn it on.

Part 2

Editing an Alarm

  1. 1
Select an alarm. Tap the alarm you want to edit. This will open the alarm's settings.
  2. 2
Change the alarm's time. If you want to edit your alarm's activation time, tap Change Time, then adjust the time as needed and tap Set.
  3. 3
Allow the alarm to repeat if necessary. To set the alarm to repeat on certain days, tap Repeat, then tap a preset such as Every day or Weekdays.
    • You can also scroll down and tap the name of each day on which you want the alarm to go off.
  4. 4
Add a name to your alarm. Tap Label, then say aloud the name you want to use for your alarm and tap Done.[1]
  5. 5
Enable or disable the "Snooze" feature. To give yourself the option of snoozing for 9 minutes after the alarm goes off, make sure the switch to the right of "Snooze" is green. Alternatively, tap the green "Snooze" switch to disable snoozing.
  6. 6
  7. 7
Delete the alarm if you like. To permanently remove an alarm from your Apple Watch, tap the alarm, then scroll down to the bottom of the menu and tap Delete.

Warnings

  • Keep in mind that your Apple Watch's speakers aren't as powerful as an iPhone's speakers; if you're a heavy sleeper, the Apple Watch may not be enough to wake you up.
