How to Send a Facebook Message Without Facebook Messenger on Android

Using the Mobile Web Browser

    Go to https://m.facebook.com in a web browser. You can use Chrome (the round red, green, yellow and blue icon on your home screen) or another web browser of your choice to access Facebook’s mobile website.
    • If you see a login screen, enter your Facebook account information to sign in now.

    Tap the messaging icon. It’s the two overlapping chat bubbles at the top of the screen. An invitation to download Messenger will appear.

    Tap Cancel. This should redirect you to your inbox, where you’ll see a list of conversations.

    Type your message into the message box. It’s at the bottom of the conversation.
