1Open Telegram on your Android. It’s the blue and white paper airplane icon typically found in the app drawer.

2Tap a chat with new message notifications. If someone replied to a Telegram message, a number will appear next to the person or group’s name. Tap any message with a number to open the conversation.

3Find new replies at the bottom of the chat. Replies you haven’t yet seen appear under the “(number) new messages” header.
- For example, if there have been 3 replies since you last opened the chat, you’ll see “3 new messages” above the replies.
