This wikiHow teaches you how to search for a string of text in Google Sheets on an Android phone or tablet.
Steps

1Open Google Sheets on your Android. It’s the green icon with a white table inside. You’ll usually find it in the app drawer.

2Tap the sheet you want to search. Its contents will appear.Advertisement

3Tap ⁝. It’s at the top-right corner of Sheets.

4Tap Find and replace…. It’s the first item in the menu.

5Tap the Find… box. It’s at the top of the screen. This brings up your Android’s keyboard.

6Type the text you want to find. Sheets will begin searching as soon as you start typing. The number next to "Find” displays the count of matching results.

7Tap and to move through the results. The spreadsheet will automatically recenter to show you where the text is found.
- To replace a search result with something else, tap Replace with…, type the new text, then tap REPLACE.
- Tap the back button to exit “Find and replace.”
