Steps

    Open Google Photos on your Android. Find and tap the colored pinwheel icon with red, orange, blue, and green curls icon on your Apps menu to open Photos.

    Tap the search bar at the top. This will allow you to enter a keyword, and search all your photos.
    • You have to enable backups in order to use the search. If you're prompted to enable backups, tap the blue TURN ON BACKUP button.
    • Alternatively, you can open a folder, and search its contents. Every folder has the search bar at the top of the page.

    Enter a keyword into the search bar. You can use names, adjectives, descriptions or keywords that you think may bring up the images you're looking for.
