This wikiHow teaches you how to search through your folders and files on the Google Drive app for iPhone and iPad. There is currently no way to filter your search results to one specific folder on Google Drive, but you can search through all your files on Google Drive.

    Open Google Drive. It's the app with the green, blue and yellow triangle.

    Type the name or keyword of the file you are looking for. You can narrow your search by tapping the file types below the search bar. File types include; PDFs, Text Documents, Spreadsheets, Presentations, Photos & Images, Videos, Folders, and Audio.
    • Selecting "folders" will only allow you to search for the names of folders. It will not allow you to search through the contents of a folder.

    Tap the matching file in the search results. In the search results at the bottom, tap the matching file you searched for.
    • If you cannot find the file, try broadening your search terms and if you included any file types, you can remove them by tapping the "x" icon in the bars below the search bar.
