Steps

    Open Google Sheets on your Android. The Google Sheets app looks like a white spreadsheet table on a green page icon. You can find it on your Apps menu.

    Tap the spreadsheet file you want to edit. Find the spreadsheet you want to save as XLSX on your list of saved files, and open it.

    Tap the icon. This button is in the upper-right corner of your screen. It will open your file options on a drop-down menu.

    Tap Share & export on the menu. This will open your sharing options on a sub-menu.

    Tap Save As on the Share & export menu. This option will allow you to save your spreadsheet in a different file format. You'll be prompted to select a file format in a new pop-up.
