When you're browsing web pages and see an image that you want to save, you don't need to search Google for that same image or take a screenshot and crop it to save it to your phone. This wikiHow will teach you how to save pictures from Safari on your iPhone. If the picture pops up in a new window, you have triggered [Touch] and either need to disable it or try to touch-and-hold your finger on the image again, without adding pressure.
Steps
-
1Touch and hold the picture for 2 seconds until a menu appears at the bottom of your screen. If a menu does not appear, the image may be blocked as a background element and you'll have to take a screenshot of your screen to save that image.
- If you're finding that 3D Touch is preventing this action, you can disable or change the sensitivity of the feature by going to Settings > General > Accessibility > 3D Touch. If you want to keep 3D Touch enabled, you can still use the touch-and-hold method, but make sure you don't add pressure to the tap.[1]
-
2Tap Save Image.
- If you tap Copy, the image will save to your phone's clipboard and you'll need to paste it somewhere, such as the Notes app.
-
3View your picture. You'll find it in the Photos app in the camera roll after you've saved it.[2]
