    Open Microsoft Excel on your computer. It’s in the All Apps area of the Start menu in Windows, and the Applications folder in macOS.

    Select the spreadsheet that contains the hyperlink.

    Right-click the hyperlink. It’s the underlined text that’s usually blue or purple. A context menu will expand.

    Click Remove Hyperlink. It’s at the bottom of the menu. The hyperlink is no longer active.
