This wikiHow teaches you how to record a PowerPoint slide show with narration, slide timings and ink gestures, using a computer. You can play the recorded presentation as a self-running slide show.
Steps

1Open the PowerPoint presentation you want to record. Find the slide show you want to record on your computer, and double-click on its name or icon to open the file.

2Click the Slide Show tab. This button is on a tab bar at the top of the app window. It will open your slide show options on the toolbar ribbon.Advertisement

3Click the Record Slide Show button on the toolbar ribbon. This button looks like a slide icon with a red dot on it. It will open a drop-down menu.

4Click Record from Beginning on the menu. This option will record the entire slide show presentation from the beginning to the end.
- Alternatively, you can select Record from Current Slide. This option will start recording from your current slide.

5Click the Start Recording button. This will start the presentation and start recording it.
