Steps

    Go to https://www.google.com in your web browser. This will take you to Google's home page.

    Click Translate. This will direct you to Google Translate.[1]

    Select the language you'll be speaking. You'll do this by clicking the language name above the left box. If you don't see your language, click the down-arrow above the box to expand a larger list.[2]

    Click the microphone icon. It's at the bottom-left corner of the left text-input box. This will enable voice input mode for Google Translate.[4]

    Speak the word or phrase you want translated. As you speak, your words will be translated to the selected language in the right box.[5]

    Click the red button when you're finished. This tells Google Translate to stop listening for your voice.
