How to Purchase an Audible Audiobook on Android

This wikiHow teaches you how to buy and download an audiobook from the online store in the Audible mobile app, using Android.

Steps

    Open the Audible app on your Android. The Audible app looks like a white icon in an orange square on your Apps menu.

    Tap the shopping cart icon on the top-right. This button is located in the upper-right corner of your library. It will open the Shop page, and allow you to browse Audible's audiobook catalog.

    Look for an audiobook on the Audible shop. You can download and listen to free and paid audiobooks here.

    Tap on an audiobook's title. When you find a book you like, tap on its title to open the product description page.

    Scroll down and select a payment option. You can pay the full price to purchase a book, buy it for free with a 30-day trial account, or buy it with your credits.
    • The Buy Now for $amount option will charge your saved method of payment to make the purchase.
    • If you select the trial option, you'll be redirected to start your 30-day trial account.
    • If you have purchasing credit on your account, you can tap Buy Now with 1 Credit to get the book for free. If you don't have any credits, this option will not appear.

    Tap the Confirm Purchase button. This will process your payment, charge the saved payment method on your account, and add the book to your library.

    Tap View in Library. This will switch you to your library. You can now listen to your new audiobook.
