1Learn the rules if you want. The game will ask you if you want to learn the rules. This is completely optional to do, although if you’re a first-timer, it's better to hear the rules before you play.
-
2Learn the game features. The game features are described as follows:
- The pocket watch will show how much time you have left until the day ends. Once the day is over, the pocket watch will close.
- TRIALS will count your cases in the game. This displays the number of cases you’ve won, the number of cases you’ve lost, and the number of cases that are currently in progress.
- MY GLOSSARY will show a dictionary of words that relate to the game.
- TEAM REVIEW will show your hired lawyers and their learned amendments.
- The Rights Review will show you the details of any amendment.
-
3Click on your client when they arrive. The client will inform you of their concern, and you’ll need to decide whether or not they have a case.
- If you are stumped, click on "Open Case Analyzer". This will give you 2 questions and you will be able to answer both. If answered correctly, the analyzer will show you any correct amendments. If wrong, try again.
- If you think the client has a right, you have 3 selections. You can select "We Can Help With That" which means the lawyer that has the correct amendment is ready for the job. You can also select "Please Wait", which is used when you don't have any available lawyers (be aware, however that if a client has waited to long, they may storm out). Finally, you can select "Come Back Tomorrow", which is used when the client is in the right but you don't have a fitting lawyer.
- To assign the client a lawyer, tap on a lawyer and check to see if they know the amendment.
- Check the results once the case has finished. They should appear in a message at the bottom of your screen.
-
4Check with your current lawyers if they have finished learning an amendment. Sometimes, your current lawyers may learn another amendment at the end of the day, which means they’ll be able to help more clients.
- You can tell which amendments your lawyers can learn by which ones next to their names are not yet highlighted.
-
5Read the newspaper. This may contain a note about cases you’ve won or lost, and cases your rival law firm has won or lost.
-
6Spend your Prestige on upgrades. You can add various decor or upgrades to the office (some of which can be upgraded multiple times), and you can also hire a lawyer for 250 prestige.
- Before hiring a lawyer, you can check their speed, notoriety as well as the current amendments they know, so be sure to take this into account.
- You can also buy ads, which cost 40 to 90 prestige based on the selection, and can bring in more clients.
