How to Pin Notes on iPhone or iPad

This wikiHow teaches you how to pin a note to the top of the list of notes on your iPhone or iPad. Pinned notes will remain at the top of the list regardless of notes that you add later.

Steps

Open
Notes. Tap the Notes app icon, which resembles a yellow-and-white notepad.

Find a note that you want to pin. All of your notes are in the middle of the page (iPhone) or on the left side of the page (iPad).
- If Notes opens to a note on iPhone, first tap the "Back" button in the top-left corner of the screen.

Swipe from left to right over the note. Doing so will pin the note to the top of the list of notes on your iPhone or iPad.
- You can unpin the note by swiping left to right over the note again.
