Enabling Bluetooth GPS Connection

  1. 1
Open the settings for your Garmin device. Simply locate the Settings option in the device’s menu.
  2. 2
Select Bluetooth. This will direct you to the page for enabling the Garmin device’s Bluetooth connection by checking the box next to Bluetooth in the Settings menu.
  3. 3
Select Search for Devices. This will let the device detect your phone’s Bluetooth connection.
  4. 4

Open your Garmin device’s Bluetooth settings. This will pull up a menu listing all available Bluetooth devices nearby.
  9. 9
Select your phone on the list of devices and tap OK. It’ll take a minute before your phone shows up on the device once Bluetooth is enabled, so wait for it to pop up if it doesn’t pop up immediately.
    • Once the Bluetooth connection has been made, you can open the Garmin Connect app and sync the GPS to your Android smartphone.
