How to Organize Facebook Groups on Android

This wikiHow teaches you how to organize your Facebook groups by creating a Favorites list. You’ll also learn how to sort your groups list to quickly find what you’re looking for.

Adding Groups to Your Favorites List

Open Facebook. It’s the blue icon with a white “f” on the home screen or in the app drawer.
- If you see the login screen, type your email address or phone number and password, then tap Log In.
- This method will help you create a special list of your favorite groups to appear at the top of the Groups list. This is helpful if you have a lot of groups.

Tap ☰. It’s at the top-right corner of the screen.

Scroll down and tap Groups.

Tap and hold a group until a pop-up menu appears.

Select Move to Favorites. This group will be added to a “Favorites” list above the standard Groups list.
- Repeat this process to add more groups to your Favorites.

Tap Edit next to “Favorites.” In this area, you can rearrange the order of your Favorites and remove groups from the list.
- Drag the ☰ beside a group’s name to move it higher or lower in the list.
- Tap the “-“ (minus) symbol in a circle to remove a group from the list.

Sorting Your Group List

- Use this method to view your list of groups in different orders. This is helpful if you’re looking for a certain group but can’t seem to find it.

Tap ☰. It’s at the top-right corner of the screen.

Tap Sort. It’s a gray link at the top-right corner of the list. A set of options will appear.

Select a sorting method. You can sort your groups in Alphabetical order, by Latest Activity, or by groups you’ve most Recently Visited.
