Steps
-
1Open your computer's Start menu. The Start menu button looks like the Windows icon in the lower-left corner of your screen.
-
2Enter %AppData%\Skype\<SkypeUsername>\main.db into the search box. You can use your keyboard to type it, or copy and paste it from your clipboard.
-
3Replace <SkypeUsername> with your own Skype username. This will search and find the main.db file in your Skype user folder.
- If this search line is not working, try C:\Users\<WindowsUserName>\AppData\Roaming\Skype\<SkypeUserName>\main.db. Make sure to replace "<WindowsUserName>" with your own Windows account username.
- As an alternative, you can search %appdata%\Skype. Here you can find and open your user folder.
