This wikiHow teaches you how to prevent Facebook posts you’re tagged in from showing up on your timeline.

Steps

    Open Facebook. It’s the blue icon with a white “F” in your app drawer. You may also find it on your home screen.

    Tap . It’s at the top-right corner of the screen.

    Tap Account Settings.

    Tap Timeline and Tagging.
  5. 5
    Tap Review posts friends tag you in before they appear on your timeline. The Timeline Review window will appear.

    Slide the switch to the On position. As long as the switch stays On, Facebook will not add posts you were tagged in to your timeline unless you manually approve them.
    • You’ll be notified each time someone tags you in something that will show up on your timeline. Simply tap the notification, then tap Hide.
