    Open Safari. The Safari app icon is a blue compass inside a white square.

    Press the aA button on the address bar. On the far left of the address bar, there is a button with the icon aA. Press that button, then proceed to the next step.[1]

    Tap Show Top Address Bar. Upon clicking the aA button, a menu will appear. At the top of that menu, select Show Top Address Bar, and you are good to go!
    • If you decide you want to put your address bar back at the bottom, follow the steps outlined above and click Show Bottom Tab Bar.
