This wikiHow teaches you how to move tasks up or down on a to-do list in Google Tasks, using Android. You can also move a task to another list on your account.
Steps

1Open the Tasks app on your Android. The Tasks app looks like a blue dot with a white line in it. You can find it on your Apps menu.

2Tap ☰ on the bottom-left. This button is in the lower-left corner of your screen. Your navigation menu will slide in from the bottom.

3Select the list you want to edit. Tap a list on the menu to open it.

4Tap and hold a task on the list. The task will lift up from the list.

5Drag the task to its new position in the list. You can move it up or down, and order the list however you want.

6Tap a task to open its details. You can move a task to another list here.

7Tap the list name at the top of the task details. The selected task's current list is indicated at the top of the page. It will open a list of all your task lists.

8Tap the list you want to move this task to. Tapping a list will instantly move the selected task here.
